CTS No-Load 500K ohm tone pot, Audio Taper, split, knurled shaft, with hardware. no detent. The housing features a distinctive indented back that is commonly referred to as "dimpled" or "dished".

A no-load tone pot effectively removes itself from the signal chain when the volume is set to 10. When the tone knob is below 10, it does its job just as intended.

"EP4186" is stamped on the back of the housing.
