What it is

Mi-Si Motif is a capacitive active under saddle pickup designed to eliminate the age-old problem of piezo sensor "quack," the distortion produced by conventional pickup systems.

Motif's design is similar in principle to the design of high-performing condenser microphones. The pickup is only 1.3 mm thick and is connected to a state-of-the-art, extremely low-noise Class A discrete preamplifier mounted on the endpin jack. The pickup's mechanical structure provides excellent contact between the saddle and bridge.

Like other Mi-Si preamps, Motif requires no batteries and takes only 60 seconds to charge. A single charge provides 6 hours of active preamp power.
