Even the best luthiers/guitar techs may not realize or are aware of the small hex locking screw in these older Ibanez ZR model bridge/tremolo (Vibrato) assemblies that needs to be loosened before adjusting the action height. The tattletale sign that someone was inexperienced with these models or forgot about the inner screw will break the thinner tops off where the larger hex key adjusts the height.
Not cool if you palm mute or loosely run your hand across the top of the screws and find out the hard way that they were damaged after what was supposed to be a simple string change.
I'm so glad I was able to find exact OEM replacement parts. I'll probably order a couple other sets just to keep in the case -- just in case. ;b
