Not exact but does the job

My Ovation is an early 80's model so I know the pickups may have changed. This was not 100% like the original, but 99% (close enough). It fits fine and was easy to replace. Guitar has new life as the old pickup was a not as responsive on the 3rd and 4th strings. Now the sound is even. Thanks GuitarParts!

JURY IS STILL OUT

I was super excited to find a OCP-1K, but was wary because it came with the 2.5mm plug. My '75 1621 Artist series was direct wire, so I bought a 2.5mm female jack hoping to just wire it to the previous lead and ground wire. So far I get only a loud (ground issue?) hum and no pickup response, so I'm trying to figure out if it's something I'm missing, another component malfunctioning, (all the solder points are solid) a faulty, or possibly not compatible OCP pickup (because of the male plug)
If I get this resolved, I jump to a 5 star rating
