.01uF (.01 mfd) Metallized polyester non inductive capacitor. This is the famous Mallory® Mustard Cap. Its small physical size and axial style leads make these caps a pleasure to use in guitar circuit wiring. 10% tolerance.

A great choice for the neck pickup position of humbucker equipped guitars, the .01uF value will roll off less treble than higher value caps as you turn down the tone control. It allows you to turn your tone knob OFF and still have some treble definition.
