The IDO Super M 10MM kill switch is an simple retrofit for most electric guitars. It's 10mm housing can fairly easily be swapped in to replace a volume or tone control with only minimal enlargement of a standard 3/8" mounting hole. It comes with pre-attached leads, so wiring is very simple - the red wire attaches to the hot terminal on your output jack and the black wire to ground. This switch can be used with active or passive pickups with no additional parts required. It's a tough switch that will last a long time in your instrument and look good doing it!

Great kill switch with plenty of lead. My install was trickier than most as I had to drill into the front of the guitar (hole is hidden by the pick guard). To get the leads to the input jack I had to drill a diagonal hole from the control cavity in the back through towards the front of the guitar to meet the hole I had drilled behind the pick guard. I took my time and measured very well and it turned out perfect. You. can't even see the kill switch until you're right up on it, whuch I really like. The guitar is a relatively rare Reverend 290.
