What it is
The Mi-Si Align is a highly flexible, compact, and lightweight battery-free preamp designed for installation in a wide variety of acoustic instruments. It comes standard with active Bass, Treble, and Volume controls and can be installed virtually anywhere within the instrument.
Since the circuit board is only 30 mils thick, it can, if desired, be cut into three separate pieces and connected with wire jumpers. Special pads are provided on the board for soldering these jumpers, allowing for installation in almost any configuration.
The Align includes an L.R. Baggs Element pickup and charging system. Like other Mi-Si preamps, the Align requires no batteries and takes only 60 seconds to charge. A single charge provides 8 hours of active preamp power.
