Ovation Celebrity OP-4CT Preamp Kit (Full System)

I had ordered a B stock guitar off off Reverb .com and according to the description it was a completely playable working guitar..well when I got it someone had removed the preamp..I reached out to the seller and they refunded me the price to replace the preamp and I found a preamp thru Guitar parts.com unfortunately it was their last one they had in stock but thankfully it was exactly the one I needed..they quickly shipped it and I had it within a couple of days ..I installed it and my guitar is as good as new...I couldn't be happier..Thank you guitar parts.com for having what I need...p.s. I have 21 Ovation guitars so please stock up on all kinds of ovation goodies for us Ovation fanatics...🤗

I thought it was just the pickup in the bridge saddle that went bad or had a bad connection but I ordered the entire kit with the preamp and all the rest of the parts and it was a good decision. It seemed like the preamp was bad so I would have needed to replace that also. The swap out of the parts was easy enough and the guitar is good as new.
The only negative thing I can say was that there are 3 little caps that go on the EQ sliders that I didn't see in the kit. Most of the parts for the preamp were packaged in one bag but it's possible that it was separate and when I removed the popcorn packing, it fell in the trash. I realized it hours later and decided not to go through the trash for it. I just used the original ones so it wasn't a big deal. But I am curious to know if the kit comes with them since it had everything else.
Nonetheless, I would recommend and definitely purchase parts from Guitar Repair Parts again, if needed.
