Mi-Si's Magpie Air is a hybrid approach to acoustic guitar amplification - combining the benefits of the award-winning, single coil active magnetic pickup and the new high-performance MEMS microphone into an extremely light and compact system.
The Magpie Air is an active hybrid soundhole pickup and high performance "mems" microphone with two separate volume controls, rechargeable preamp and Mi-Si power charger. No batteries needed. This is a magnetic "planar" single coil pickup and "mems" microphone, designed to minimize hum while providing a broad frequency response.
The black housing, easily clamps in the soundhole, mini-jack in pickup allows you to use a patch cord externally or easily connect internally to a 1/4" strap button jack harness (included).
Powering up Magpie AIR for 60 seconds will provide you with up to 7 hours of performance time.
