The Earvana compensated shelf nut helps minimize common intonation issues that may be experienced by players when fingering notes in the first 3-5 frets and open position chords. By selectively extending the string's break-off point at the nut, players are better able achieve a total balance throughout the entire fretboard.
The upgrade requires no permanent modification to the guitar, no special tuner settings, and is affordable enough to be retrofitted to your entire collection.
