The EVH D-Tuna is a unique patented device that enables players to drop the E to D and back, in an instant. D-Tuna has been standard equipment on Eddie Van Halen's personal guitars as well as signature series locking tremolo-equipped guitars since the early 90's. Since then thousands of D-Tuna's have been sold all over the world. D-Tuna is proud to be endorsed by many professional players such as Warren DeMartini (RATT), Michael Wilton (Queensryche) and Dave "The Snake" Sabo (Skid Row) just to name a few. Bottom line...It's simple to use and it works.

The D-Tuna was designed to adapt to a double-locking tremolo, giving you the option of "drop D" tuning without unclamping the nut.

The D-Tuna is made from the highest quality hardened steel. The patented design allows for precise fine-tuning adjustment, is simple to set up, easy to use, and really works!

Each D-Tuna kit contains:

  • 1 EVH D-Tuna Unit
  • 2 String lock screws
  • 1 Spring
  • 1 Fine tuning Allen wrench

We ship orders throughout the United States via USPS and UPS. Shipping rates are discounted from standard retail rates and are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.

Shipping Options

USPS Ground Advantage is our standard economy shipping option. Delivery is typically 2–5 business days from the date of shipment.

For customers who prefer an alternative service, USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, and UPS 2nd Day Air are also available at calculated rates during checkout.

Please note that the shipping method selected does not affect our handling time.

All shipments include tracking information.

Delivery Estimates

Estimated arrival dates shown at checkout are provided as a courtesy and are based on the carrier's expected transit times. While most orders arrive within the estimated timeframe, carrier delays can occasionally occur and are outside of our control.

USPS Delays & Lost Packages

USPS Ground Advantage is an economical service, but transit times can occasionally be longer than the estimated 2–5 business days. If your package appears to be significantly delayed, we are happy to help.

USPS requires that we wait at least 7 business days from the mailing date before submitting a Missing Mail request and 15 days before a package can be considered lost for purposes of a claim.

Packaging

We take care to package orders securely while minimizing unnecessary waste. Whenever practical, we may use clean, recycled packing materials.
