What it is
The Mi-Si Align XT is designed specifically to upgrade compatible Taylor guitars to a battery-free pickup and preamp system. The Align XT features Volume, Bass, and Treble controls spaced for an easy retrofit, as well as Mi-Si's unique custom Linearization, which virtually eliminates piezo "quack."
The output connector is built to match the existing Taylor 4-pin Molex wiring harness used on Taylor guitars from 2007 or later with a 9-volt battery box, so the existing endpin jack does not need to be replaced. The Align XT includes an L.R. Baggs Element under saddle pickup and charging system.
Like other Mi-Si preamps, the Align XT requires no batteries and takes only 60 seconds to charge. A single charge provides 8 hours of active preamp power.
