These Die-cast metal humbucker mounting rings feature an arched bottom to better fit the contours of a carved guitar top such as a Les Paul or ES-335 style body.
This ring is angled in height. It is typically positioned so that the side closest to bridge is taller than the side closest to the neck or fretboard.
