The BQS System is a complete 5 knob control system for EMG bass pickups. The heart of the system is the BQS Control: a 3-band equalizer with Bass, Treble, and a stacked mid control with sweepable frequency selection. It also includes an Active Balance Control, with center detent for the middle position, that allows for loss-free balance between two pickups. Rounding out the kit is a Master Volume control, knobs, stereo output jack, battery buss, battery terminal, wiring, and installation instructions.

The primary feature of the BQS System is the variable mid-range frequency selection from 100 to 1KHz along with boost or cut of the chosen frequency. An additional feature of the BQC Control is a 2-position dip-switch that controls the slope of the high frequency response. By choosing one of the four combinations the high frequency response can be tailored to your liking.
These systems are built with the latest surface mount technology, are extremely quiet, and require very little current from a 9 Volt battery.

Note:If you are using EMG-HZ Passive pickups, or other passive pickups you will want to use a B125 Active Balance Control which features buffered inputs for a higher input impedance.
